New year new projects

Hello friends,

After a long winter hiatus I hope I will be sending out newsletters again. December is generally our busiest month in terms of cellar works and retail as well. In January we switch to winter hours for tastings open on Thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays until the end of March. In January and February, I also have the least desired jobs like the yearly winery physical audit, accounting works etc.

I am happy to announce they are all over now. I am not sure if you heard about "The Porto Protocol" the wine industry's climate action network. It is a non-profit organization that Icellars has become a full member in which the members share their vineyard/winery solutions with other members and general public to make our industry more sustainable. Last summer they were at our vineyard to shoot a little piece about our practices. You can watch their newly released video "Seeding the Future"

12 winemakers around the world including myself are talking about the challenges and our solutions to them. At Icellars since 2010, we have been building our winery on the principles of being sustainable and also profitable to exist for generations. We are proud to be Certified Organic in both in the vineyard and the cellar, Certified Sustainable , Regenerative and Net Zero Energy while growing and making ultra premium tasty wines.

We also invested heavily to be self sufficient on almost every aspect of the business like farming the 60 acres with our own equipment and crew, having our own label printing and bottling line.
