2017 WIYANA WANDA TASTING NOTES:

Wiyana Wanda is our top tier Bordeaux Blend. Always Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, the 2017 vintage is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Merlot (20%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). The barrels designated for this blend were vinified and aged in separate lots. Blended 12 months after harvest by selecting the best French Oak barrels by taste. After blending, the wine was returned to French Oak barrels to allow the wine to integrate. Bottled unfined and unfiltered after a total of 24 months in barrel.

Intense aromas of black fruit, baking spice and tobacco. A second sniff reveals aromas of vanilla bean and licorice. Dry, medium plus acidity, medium plus alcohol and velvety tannins. Blackberry and plum are followed by evolving flavors from the spice drawer. Drink 2020-2027+.
